PLUS40 has become aware of a brilliant programme being offered by BP Australia to support volunteer efforts around the country.

If you're a not-for-profit volunteer and you use a vehicle to undertake your volunteering activities, BP want to hear from you. You could be rewarded with free BP fuel to help you in your volunteering work.

Now that applications are closed, you'll need to wait and find out if you are one of the lucky volunteers to get a Fuel Voucher from BP.

Applications closed at 5.00pm (AEST) on 2 May 2010, so if your application is successful, you'll be notified and your name will appear on www.talkstoppedlongago.com.au by 30 June 2010.

Have you been out of the general work force due to family or other commitments? Do you feel that your skills could do with a brush up before you face a full or part-time position?

Have you considered improving your skills by working as a volunteer, assisting those in need in your community?

PLUS40, along with several national volunteer organisations, are delighted to provide information, contacts and links to these group. Your help could make all the difference in someone's life – while enriching your own, and rebuilding your esteem to better enable you to find the job you're looking for!
